Authorization is a relationship with each manufacturer. It means our technicians have completed that manufacturer’s training on their equipment lines, we buy parts through their authorized channel, and we can file claims in their system. It is not a general credential you get once and keep forever.
Why it matters to your bottom line
Commercial refrigeration warranties come with conditions. Most manufacturers require that covered repairs be performed by an authorized servicer using genuine OEM parts. Bring in a non-authorized company or let them install an aftermarket compressor, and a later claim can be denied, sometimes on equipment that still had years of coverage left.
The math is unpleasant when that happens. A compressor replacement that should have cost you nothing becomes a full out-of-pocket repair, and the remaining term on the unit is now worth less than the paper it is printed on.
We verify coverage before we dispatch
Send us the model number, serial number, and purchase or install date from the data plate. We confirm status with the manufacturer and tell you what is covered before anyone rolls a truck. Costs you nothing, takes very little time, and removes the most common source of disputes in this business.
Coverage details vary more than people expect. Parts and labor often have different terms. Compressors frequently carry an extended term separate from the rest of the unit. Some coverage is void if maintenance records cannot be produced, which is one more reason a maintenance agreement earns its keep.
Genuine OEM parts and proper documentation
We source parts through the authorized channel, correct for your specific build rather than a close-enough substitute, and traceable on the claim. Then we file the warranty paperwork ourselves. Manufacturers have documentation requirements that get claims rejected on technicalities, and chasing that down is not a good use of a restaurant manager’s afternoon.
When the warranty ends
Nothing changes about who services your equipment. Out-of-warranty repair goes through the same technicians at standard hourly rates, with your choice of OEM or quality equivalent parts. On older units we will also give you the honest comparison between a large repair and a replacement, because at some point continuing to fix a unit stops making financial sense.
For general repair work regardless of coverage, see commercial refrigeration repair, and for parts you want to source yourself, our parts and water filters counter is open to technicians and operators alike.
